Privacy Policy

Information on the processing of personal data pursuant to Art. 13, 14 GDPR.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

Zeidler IT-Consulting
Michael Zeidler
Karl-Seitz-Strasse 3
63768 Hösbach, Germany
Email: kontakt@zitcs.com

2. General information on data processing

We process our users' personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. Processing generally takes place only with the user's consent or, where prior consent cannot be obtained for factual reasons, where processing is permitted by statutory provisions.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by an external service provider. The personal data collected on this website is stored on the hoster's servers. The hoster processes data on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and efficient provision of our online offering (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR).

The provider is netcup GmbH, Emmy-Noether-Strasse 10, 76131 Karlsruhe, Germany. This is a root server rented by us and administered under our own responsibility; netcup provides only the server infrastructure. We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with netcup GmbH pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, which ensures the data-protection-compliant processing of the data collected via this website.

4. Server log files

When you access this website, the provider automatically collects information that your browser transmits and stores in so-called server log files. These are in particular:

This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR for the technically error-free presentation and security of the website.

5. Getting in touch

On this website you can contact us via a contact form or by email. When you use the contact form, the details you enter (name, email address, optionally company and telephone number, subject and your message) are transmitted to our server, processed there and forwarded to us by email in order to handle your enquiry. No data is passed on to third parties; no external form or marketing services are used. This data is used and stored solely for the purpose of handling your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions.

The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR where your enquiry relates to the performance of a contract or is necessary for pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR), insofar as this was requested.

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected and no statutory retention obligations prevent this.

6. Cookies and analytics (Umami)

This website does not use cookies for tracking or marketing purposes. For privacy-friendly analytics we use the self-hosted software Umami, operated on our own server (analytics.zitcs.com). Umami works entirely without cookies and does not create cross-device profiles.

Only anonymised statistical data is collected, such as pages visited, approximate origin (country), referrer, and browser and device type. IP addresses are not stored and are only briefly processed to generate these anonymous statistics. No data is passed on to third parties; no external analytics or advertising services are used. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the statistical evaluation and needs-based design of our offering (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR). As no cookies are set and no personal profiles are created, no consent is required.

7. Fonts

For a consistent presentation, this website uses the "Inter" font. The font files are provided exclusively locally from our own server and are loaded directly from there when the page is accessed. No connection is made to third-party servers (in particular not to Google) and no IP address is transmitted to external providers.

8. Your rights as a data subject

Under the GDPR you have, in particular, the following rights:

To exercise your rights, an informal message to the contact details given above is sufficient.

9. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data. The competent authority is, among others, the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

10. Data security

We use technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against manipulation, loss or unauthorised access. Where available, transmission is encrypted via TLS/SSL (recognisable by the "https" in the address bar).

11. Currency of this privacy policy

This privacy policy is currently valid. Due to the further development of our website or as a result of changed legal or regulatory requirements, it may become necessary to amend this privacy policy.
